1. Event Overview
Love Is Love is a casual Fortnite duos tournament focused on community, connection, and fun-first gameplay. This is not a competitive esports event.
All registered teams will play for the entire duration of the event. There are no eliminations based on match performance.
2. Date & Time
- Saturday, February 14, 2026
- 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
The event is scheduled for approximately three (3) hours. We will do our best to complete all planned matches within this timeframe.
3. Eligibility & Age Requirements
- Participants must play on-site at Contender Esports Lacey.
- Participants must be 13 years of age or older.
- Participants under 13 may participate with written authorization from a parent or legal guardian, subject to staff approval.
- All participants must have a signed facility waiver on file prior to play.
4. Team Format & Registration
- Teams consist of two (2) players (duos only).
- Tickets are sold in pairs.
- Each participant may only compete on one team.
- Team substitutions are not permitted except at staff discretion.
5. Match Format, Drops & Scoring
The tournament uses a placement-based points system. All teams participate in every scheduled drop and earn points based on their finishing placement.
The event is planned for a minimum of four (4) drops. Additional drops may be added if time permits.
Our goal is to complete at least four (4) drops within the scheduled event window. If needed, the event may run slightly over the scheduled end time in order to fairly complete all planned drops.
We appreciate your patience and understanding in advance as we prioritize a smooth and complete experience for all teams.

After each drop, points are recorded and added to each team’s cumulative total. The team with the highest total points at the end of the event is declared the winner.
This structure rewards consistency across multiple matches rather than a single outcome.
6. Late Arrival Policy
- Teams must be present and ready at the scheduled start of each drop.
- Late arrival results in zero (0) points for that drop.
- This applies independently to each missed drop.
7. Equipment & Personal Gear
- Gaming PCs and standard peripherals are provided.
- Players may bring personal equipment.
- The facility is not responsible for loss or damage to personal equipment.
8. Sportsmanship & Conduct
- Follow staff instructions and posted rules.
- Treat others with respect.
- No cheating, harassment, or disruptive behavior.
Violations may result in score adjustment or removal from the event without refund, at staff discretion.

Prize Conditions
- All prizes are non-transferable.
- Prizes and All-Day Passes have no cash value.
- No substitutions or exchanges are guaranteed.
10. Tickets
- $40 per team (duos)
- Tickets are sold in pairs.
- Tickets are non-refundable.
- Members receive a 20% discount.
11. Staff Discretion
Staff reserve the right to interpret and enforce these rules to ensure fair play and event success. All decisions are final.
12. Event Scope & Availability
This tournament is hosted exclusively at Contender Esports Lacey and is not affiliated with other locations.
Event details, format, and prizing are subject to change due to capacity or operational needs.
